Overview

Finding a nearby doctor, checking reviews and choosing an appointment time are connected steps. Patients also need to know whether they can visit the doctor in person or consult remotely.

Synapto brings these activities into one platform. Users can search for doctors near their location, review their options, check available slots and book a date and time. They can attend an in-person appointment or connect with a doctor through an in-app video call. Chat and medical-record submission support communication around the consultation.

Minterminds developed the web and mobile platform alongside an admin panel for managing doctors, appointment availability and the services displayed to users.

The Project Goal

The project focused on creating a clear journey from finding a doctor to arranging a consultation.

Patients needed enough information to choose whom to consult, followed by a practical way to see availability and book. The experience also needed to accommodate both in-person visits and video consultations.

Behind these patient-facing functions, the administrative team needed control over the information appearing in the app. Doctor listings, available dates, appointment times and services all required management through a dedicated panel.

The development brought these requirements together, connecting patient access with the administrative work supporting it.

Doctor Search by Location

Synapto allows patients to search for doctors near their location. This gives users a starting point based on where they need care, particularly when planning an in-person visit.

Users can check reviews of doctors while considering their options.

Placing reviews within the discovery process gives patients additional information before they choose an appointment. They can review this alongside the doctor’s details and availability within the same platform.

Appointment Slots and Booking

Patients can view available appointment slots and select a suitable date and time.

This connects doctor discovery with booking. Once a user has chosen a doctor, they can check the available schedule and arrange the consultation through the platform.

The administrative panel supports this function by allowing the team to add availability according to specific dates and times.

In-Person and Video Consultations

Synapto supports two consultation formats. Patients can book an appointment to visit a doctor in person or have a video consultation through the app.
